Boot mode flashing allows direct communication with a controller by opening the ECU housing and connecting directly to points on the circuit board. This method provides the highest level of access but requires precise and stable probe placement.
The positioning frame kit is designed to simplify this process. The heavy-duty frame provides a stable working platform, reducing the risk of movement while positioning probes. A clear, adjustable acrylic plate with integrated lighting helps illuminate the PCB, making it easier to identify and locate connection points. The plate is also used to securely hold the probes in position during read and write operations.
The kit includes a positioning arm compatible with application-specific probes, eight high-quality jumper wires, eight durable aluminum universal probes, and a spacer to ensure correct probe height and consistent contact.
