Boot mode flashing enables direct communication with a controller by opening the housing and connecting directly to specific points on the circuit board. This method provides the highest level of access, but requires precise and stable probe placement to ensure reliable communication.
This kit is primarily designed for use with a positioning frame. It includes eight high-strength aluminum programming probes, jumper wires, and a spacer to maintain proper distance between the frame and the circuit board. Each probe features a silicone grip at the top, allowing for a wide range of angles while maintaining stable, reliable contact with precise pins.
There is no minimum spacing requirement between programming probes, allowing flexible placement based on the controller layout. Each probe has a total length of 110 mm (4.33 in) and uses a 1.3 mm (0.05 in) pogo pin tip for accurate, repeatable connections.
