New AT protocol!
Dear Users,
A practical software update expanding our coverage for Opel, Vauxhall, and Subaru naturally aspirated petrol platforms is now live on your AutoTuner Tool. The Siemens SIMTEC71 ECU is officially supported via 100% OBD Normal Read (NR).
This release, targeted primarily at the European market, highlights something that is often overlooked in the tuning community: not all tuning is about making more power.
As vehicles age, keeping them on the road can mean increasingly expensive repairs and sometimes involves rare components that cost more than the vehicle itself.
When your shop is equipped with an AutoTuner Tool, you have more options. Access to the ECU can allow you to properly adapt the vehicle for compatible third-party replacement components, make necessary calibration changes, and keep an older vehicle running without being locked into an uneconomical factory repair.
Sometimes tuning is about performance.
Sometimes it’s simply about keeping a 30-year-old car on the road.
